BitScoop Labs, Inc. (the “Company”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users.  Our Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, and safeguard the information you provide to us and to assist you in making informed decisions about using our Service.  

For purposes of this Agreement, “Service” refers to the Company’s service which can be accessed via our websites an subdomains at and, or any of our future websites and apps, and includes, but is not limited to, any interaction with our websites, toolboxes, platforms or apps. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the Company and our Services. “You” refers to you, as a user of our Service. By accepting our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use (found here:, you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of any “Third-Party Services” (including APIs, data providers, partners, platforms, or apps e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Github, etc.) and their platforms you access through our services or to any applications developed by third parties that we do not own or control (“Third-Party Apps”) or to any third parties who use our Application Programming Interface (API or platform) to perform any function related to their API, service, or platform. As an example, the Privacy Policy does not cover any information or other content you can view via our service or information you provide to Third-Party Apps accessed via our service. We facilitate access to innumerable APIs and third party services and cannot know which of those APIs and third party services share our respect for your privacy, therefore we cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of any supported or unsupported APIs, platforms, or Third-Party Apps or services. We encourage you to carefully review the policies of all APIs, platforms or Third-Party Apps or services you access via our Service.



We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.”  Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, ip addresses, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit.  Personal Information includes your username, email, and password, and other personal information, including addresses and company information, which you submit or provide us access to when registering for and using our site. If you register with us through a Third-Party platform or service (e.g. Facebook, Google, GitHub), we may access the information related to your Third-Party profile.

1.    Information collected via technology

To access our homepage you do not need to submit any Personal Information.  However, in an effort to improve the quality of the Service, we track information provided to us by your browser, our browser plugins, or by our software application when you view or use the Service, such as the website you came from (known as the “referring URL”), the type of browser you use, the device from which you connected to the Service, the time and date of access, your location, your internet or browser history, IP address, and other information that does not personally identify you.  We track this information using cookies, tracking code, small text files which include an anonymous unique identifier, or other technology.  Cookies are sent to a user’s browser from our servers and are stored on the user’s computer hard drive.  Sending a cookie to a user’s browser enables us to collect Non-Personal information about that user, and in conjunction with Personal information when associated with an account or a logged in user, and keep a record of the user’s preferences when utilizing our services, both on an individual and aggregate basis.  The Company may use both persistent and session cookies and cache; persistent cookies and cache remain on your device after you close your session and until you delete them, while session cookies and cache expire when you close your browser. Some information from these cookies and cache may be synced to your cloud based services over which we have no control.  

Some Third-Party analytics, advertising or other services on our site may also place their own cookies or anonymous identifiers on your browser. For example, Google Analytics, Google Display Network, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting may be implemented whereby Google will set cookies or place tracking code to collect your data. When you access an API through BitScoop® services or your API is accessed through BitScoop® services our servers automatically record and log activity. This may include information such as your web request, IP address, and the time of your request.


2.    Information you provide us by registering for an account

In addition to the information provided automatically by your browser when you visit the Site, to become a subscriber to the Service you will need to create a personal profile.  You can create a profile by registering with the Service and entering your email address, creating a user name and a password, and providing other information for your account management.  By registering, you are authorizing us to collect, store and use your email address in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Our services are not directed towards, designed for, nor intended to be used by children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. 3.    Other information

Our service enables connection to APIs and Third-Party Services (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Github). To accomplish this, you may be required to provide API keys for authentication on Third-Party services. In certain cases, your end-users may be required to interact with the BitScoop® system to generate or provide an authentication tokens or API keys that identifies them with Third-Party Services on your behalf. API keys and authentication tokens are collected, processed, and stored in the BitScoop® system, however  we do NOT receive or store your end-users’ passwords for Third-Party service accounts. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the policies of these Third-Party services used with our service.

To enhance the performance of your applications that use the BitScoop® system, you can configure internal caching. When caching is enabled for a particular resource, we may store the information we request on your behalf such as HTTP requests and HTTP responses. We do not aggregate, analyze, or share this information.

We receive and store information relating to administrative communications, inquiries or comments you send us.

We place information and tracking links in our emails to you to allow us to analyze and improve our communication and services to you. We may use Third-Party email services.

We do not collect or store your sensitive financial information when you purchase a paid Service. Information such as credit card numbers and verification or identification codes or  numbers is stored by our third party payment processor (“Payment Processor”). The collection, use, and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processor’s applicable service terms, privacy policy, or other documents. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with those terms. Currently, our Payment Processor is: Stripe. We may store your billing address, cardholder name, or other non-financial information for the purpose of completing future commercial transactions and continuing a commercial relationship with you.

Deleting your account may not fully or immediately remove all of your data or other information from our systems.


Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your Personal Information with third parties without your consent.

In general, the Personal Information you provide to us is used to help us communicate with you; to identify you for billing, security, and authentication when logging into our service; and enable us to provide all our personalized services.  We also use Personal Information to contact users in response to questions, solicit feedback from users, provide technical support, and inform users about features or promotional offers.

We may also share information with Third-Party service providers or consultants for the purposes of operating or improving our processes, technology, and services.  In the course of business we do need to share limited Personal Information with vendors who are performing services for the Company, such as with the service providers for our email communications who are provided access to user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. Those vendors use your Personal Information only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

In general, we use Non-Personal Information to help us improve the Service and customize the user experience.  We also aggregate Non-Personal Information in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the Site, to analyze the website and our visitors, including their demographics and user behavior.  This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use or disclosure of Non-Personal Information and we reserve the right to use and disclose such Non-Personal Information to our partners, prospective advertisers and other third parties at our discretion.

We use Third-Party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics) to collect, analyze, and report usage information about our users to help us improve our services. We also use Third-Party analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics) to help us provide our customer support services. Some of this information may be associated and analyzed as it relates a specific IP address or analyzed in the aggregate. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the policies of Google Analytics.

Non-personal information can become personally identifying when enhanced and associated with personal information. Such enhanced information allows us to provide users with a more secure, customized, and meaningful experience.

In the event we undergo a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your Personal Information may be among the assets transferred.  You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy, and that any acquirer of our assets may continue to process your Personal Information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.  If our information practices change at any time in the future, we will post the policy changes to the Site so that you may opt out of the new information practices.  We suggest that you check the Site periodically if you are concerned about how your information is used.


We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access.  Your account is protected by your account password and your API keys. We urge you to take steps to keep your persona and account information safe by protecting and not disclosing your password or API keys and by logging out of your account after each use.  We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls, and TLS/SSL.  However, these measures do not guarantee that your information on our servers or on your connected Third-Party Services, Data Providers, Apps or Platforms will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed at any time by breach of such firewalls and secure server software, or other factors.  We utilize third-party cloud services for servers, storing data, and other services. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

We reserve the right to access, preserve, and disclose any information as we reasonably believe is necessary, in our sole discretion, to (i) satisfy any law, regulation, legal process, governmental request, or governmental order, (ii) enforce this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations hereof, (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues (including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and spam/malware prevention), (iv) respond to user support requests, or (v) protect the rights, property, health or safety of us, our users, any third parties or the public in general.


You have the right at any time to prevent us from contacting you for marketing purposes.  When we send a promotional communication to a user, the user can opt out of further promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in each promotional e-mail. Please note that notwithstanding the promotional preferences you indicate by either unsubscribing or opting out in the Settings section of the Site, we may continue to send you administrative emails including, for example, periodic updates to our Privacy Policy.


As part of the Service, we may provide links to or compatibility with other websites or applications.  However, we are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by those websites or the information or content they contain.  This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site and the Service.  Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to your use of a Third-Party website or service accessed by selecting a link on our Site or via our Service.  To the extent that you access or use the Service through or on another website or application, the privacy policy of that other website or application will apply to your access or use of that site or application.  We encourage our users to read the privacy statements of other websites before proceeding to use them.


The Company reserves the right to change this policy and our Terms of Service at any time.  We will notify you of significant changes to our Privacy Policy by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site for a period of time.  Your use of our services following the posting of any changes to our Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
